Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Erkki Vieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pulla Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Erkki Vieri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pulla Sorsa!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieri lands a body shot.
Vieri pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sorsa back to the cage. Vieri follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Vieri throws a series of punches but Sorsa moves out of range.
Sorsa blocks a low kick nicely.
Sorsa misses with the combination.
Vieri misses with a two punch combination.
Sorsa tries a head kick but it misses.

Sorsa moves in looking to clinch but Vieri pushes him off.

Pulla Sorsa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vieri throws a shot to the body.
Sorsa doesn't manage to clinch there - Vieri circles away.

Sorsa rushes Vieri and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Vieri has clasped his hands together around Sorsa's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Vieri creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sorsa sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vieri accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Vieri sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sorsa's guard.
Vieri has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Vieri has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Vieri lands a big shot to the head and Sorsa winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
