The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel Penn doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rosario counters with a single leg into guard. Steel Penn didn't expect that.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rosario drops back looking for a leg! Steel Penn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Steel Penn manages to kick Rosario off! Rosario jumps back into Steel Penn's guard.
Steel Penn is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rosario defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steel Penn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rosario doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rosario manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rosario accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Steel Penn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rosario defends it easily.

Steel Penn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
A big strike lands for Rosario! That's really hurt Steel Penn and he's turned his back - Rosario keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Rosario jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
