Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 2, fighting out of London, Ashley Davies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Convict!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Davies misses.
Convict misses with a head kick.
Davies avoids the head kick by Convict.
Davies throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Convict throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Davies, right into the meat.
Convict ducks under a wild hook from Davies.
Convict with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Convict throws a head kick but Davies moves out of range.

Davies is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Convict's half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Davies wants to control but Convict is keeping him busy.
Davies with the ground and pound but Convict uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Convict working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Davies.
Davies is working Convict over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Davies accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Davies wants to pass the guard but Convict is keeping the position.
Convict keeping moving, preventing Davies from controlling successfully.
Davies stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Convict swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Davies will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Davies postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Davies throws a strike but Convict rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Davies seems keen to control Convict's posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ashley Davies.
Convict tries to clinch but Davies moves away
and Davies counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Convict thinking.
Convict tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davies swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Davies scores with a jab. Convict acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Convict ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Davies blocks a head kick by Convict.
Convict tries a head kick but it misses.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Convict.
Davies scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Convict thumps Davies with a low kick.
Davies connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The Convict is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Davies connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Convict feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davies's calf.
Convict connects with a crisp jab.
Convict fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davies manages to avoid it.
Convict throws a series of punches but Davies moves out of range.
Davies throws a push kick but Convict slaps the foot to one side.
Davies lands with a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Convict takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Davies lands a leg kick that knocks Convict off balance momentarily.
Convict is looking to clinch but Davies is avoiding it.
Convict throws a front kick aimed at Davies's knee but Davies avoids it well.
Davies throws the left hand but Convict avoids the punch easily.
Donk. Davies catches Convict right on the button with a cross.

Convict is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Davies engages and cracks Convict with a massive lead left hook - Convict tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Davies is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ashley Davies was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
