Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tigo Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaldo Lanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arnaldo Lanches is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tigo Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arnaldo Lanches!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lanches moves forwards but Alves connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Lanches tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Alves scores with a jab to the head.
Lanches tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alves swivels and escapes.
Alves fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lanches on the side of the head.

Oooooh!!! Alves has knocked Lanches down with a huge combo! Alves steps away and waves a wobbly Lanches back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alves throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lanches counters with a head kick.
Alves throws a good cross that connects.
Alves fails to land with a series of punches.
Lanches tries a low kick but Alves avoids it.
Alves throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alves lunges at Lanches with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lanches's hand.
Alves misses with a series of wild punches.

Lanches gets a double leg takedown into Alves's guard.
Lanches won't allow Alves to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Alves wriggles free and stands up.
Lanches is looking to clinch but Alves is avoiding it.
Alves rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lanches moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lanches changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alves tries to avoid it but Lanches manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alves to the ground. Alves escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alves defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lanches.
Tigo Alves has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnaldo Lanches.

Alves lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alves.

Alves lands a big right hand that sends Lanches crashing to the mat! Alves stays standing though and waves Lanches back to his feet!

Lanches fails with a takedown attempt.
Lanches is still on wobbly legs! Can Alves finish him?

Alves lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lanches is looking to close the distance but Alves sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lanches crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lanches is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
