Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rocky Saylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Winchester!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Saylor blocks a low kick nicely.
Saylor closes the distance and clinches up with Winchester, looking for a takedown. Saylor pushes Winchester against the cage but Winchester circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rocky Saylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saylor gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A lazy left from Winchester finds it's target.
Winchester scores with a jab.
Saylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Winchester sprawls well. He's pushed Saylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Oooooh!!! Winchester has knocked Saylor down with a huge combo! Winchester steps away and waves a wobbly Saylor back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Oh Saylor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Winchester lands with a good body shot.
Winchester leaves Saylor with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Saylor seems to have got his legs back now.
Winchester displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saylor.

Nice uppercut lands for Winchester. That snapped Saylor's head back.

Winchester lands with an uppercut that bounces Saylor off the cage and back into range.

and Saylor counters with a takedown into side control.

Saylor working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Winchester is looking to regain half guard here but Saylor keeps moving and retains side control.

Saylor tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Saylor has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Winchester is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saylor tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Saylor working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Winchester looks winded!

Saylor is trying to get an arm triangle but Winchester is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Winchester tries to bench press Saylor off him but Saylor keeps the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Winchester dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Saylor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Winchester circles away.
Winchester stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Saylor has a takedown stuffed.
Saylor fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Winchester looks to land a left hand but Saylor moved out of range nicely.

Winchester throws a big shot that misses.
Winchester scores with a jab. Saylor acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Saylor is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Winchester.

Winchester jabs Saylor right on the nose. Saylor blinks but takes it well.

Winchester fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Saylor on the side of the head.
Saylor shoots in looking for a takedown. Winchester tries to sprawl out of it but Saylor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Winchester manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Winchester misses with an uppercut.
A big right from Winchester misses.
Winchester lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Saylor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Winchester.
Winchester is breathing heavily.
Saylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Winchester as he jumps to the side.
Winchester is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Winchester misses the shot to the body.
Sam Winchester seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Saylor shoots for a double leg takedown but Winchester sprawls well. He's pushed Saylor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Winchester defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Saylor.
Saylor takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Winchester just misses with a punch to the body.
Winchester keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Saylor shoots in looking for a takedown. Winchester tries to sprawl out of it but Saylor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Winchester manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Winchester stuffs the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam Winchester showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Saylor looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Saylor tries for a takedown but Winchester sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Winchester connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Winchester keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Winchester uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Saylor has time to react.
Saylor shoots in but no luck this time.

Winchester scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Saylor shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Winchester as he jumps to the side.
Winchester swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Saylor.

Winchester cracks Saylor with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Winchester has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Saylor to stand back up!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
and Winchester counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Saylor! He's just covering up as Winchester starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Winchester!
