Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Skyscrapers - Ready, Set, Fall!. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wayne fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Anderson fails to land with a series of punches.
Anderson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like John Wayne has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wayne.
Anderson lands a right hook to the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Anderson.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wayne but Wayne pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Anderson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wayne scores with a jab. Anderson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Anderson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wayne manages to avoid it.

Wayne shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Anderson's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Wayne postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wayne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Wayne has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Anderson has his foot on Wayne's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wayne works his way back into a safe position though.

Wayne is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Anderson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Anderson.

Wayne sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anderson's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Anderson will probably get the nod.

Wayne seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Anderson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Wayne passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Anderson!
Anderson tries to reverse the position but Wayne maintains control.
Wayne lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wayne loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Anderson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Wayne land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Wayne stands and salutes the crowd.
