The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Franklin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Franklin prevents Tordin from escaping the position.

Tordin lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

It looks like Frank Franklin has been cut.

Franklin tries to escape but Tordin has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Franklin turns into Tordin and is now in his guard.

Franklin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Tordin has his feet on Franklin's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Franklin walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Franklin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Franklin is working to tighten is grip on Tordin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Tordin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Franklin is really squeezing tight and eventually Tordin passes out! Franklin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
