PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnold Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brett Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pink Floyd - Any Color You Like. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson misses with a hook. Gray ducked under it nicely.

Robinson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gray.

Robinson thows a body shot but no joy.
Gray has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Robinson finds it's way round the side to connect with Gray's head.

Robinson looks to throw the jab but Gray is out of range.

Gray closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Robinson quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Gray drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gray jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Gray has hold of Robinson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robinson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gray is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Robinson can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
