Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boris JorJovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Papa Legba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Legba has chosen Cruel Summer by Bananarama as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris JorJovsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Papa Legba!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JorJovsky throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Legba.
Legba misses with a hook. JorJovsky ducked under it nicely.
JorJovsky misses the shot to the body.
JorJovsky takes a swing at Legba's ribcage but misses.
Legba misses with a few strikes there.
JorJovsky darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Legba keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
JorJovsky works his foot free and advances to mount.
JorJovsky misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
JorJovsky throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Legba because JorJovsky loaded up on that one.

JorJovsky thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

JorJovsky will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
JorJovsky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Legba is surviving well by controlling JorJovsky's body position as best he can.

JorJovsky throwing strikes here but Legba is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
JorJovsky trying to control but Legba is having none of it.
JorJovsky looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Legba can't escape the position.
JorJovsky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
JorJovsky working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Legba turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips JorJovsky off and cradles Legba's limp body as JorJovsky celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Boris JorJovsky!
In his post fight interview, Boris JorJovsky started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
