The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boughdoy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Boughdoy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Lister blocks the leg kick.
Boughdoy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boughdoy throws a low kick but Lister moves out of range easily.
Boughdoy throws a half hearted mid kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Lister checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A solid body kick from Boughdoy.

Boughdoy tries to sprawl but Lister drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lister controlling the action here.
Boughdoy is looking to get back to is feet but Lister passes into side control.
Boughdoy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lister wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Lister lands some shots froms side control.
Boughdoy tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boughdoy seems a little lost for a moment, as Lister dominates the positioning.
Lister cracks Boughdoy with a big elbow.
Boughdoy is trying to control Lister's posture but Lister avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boughdoy wants to get back to his feet but Lister drags him back down.
Lister landing strikes.
Boughdoy is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lister connects with a decent elbow.

Lister is working to tighten is grip on Boughdoy's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Boughdoy has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lister is really squeezing tight and eventually Boughdoy passes out! Lister breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
