PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryszard Rynkowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chang Sun Son (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Son comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Deftones- Be quiet and drive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rynkowski tries a low kick but Son avoids it.

Rynkowski gets tackled into the cage by Son. Son maintains the clinch.
Son swings wildly with an uppercut but Rynkowski uses good head movement to avoid it.
Son can't find room to land a body shot as Rynkowski controls the action.
Son goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Son is looking to control Rynkowski's arms but Rynkowski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Son has his back to the cage.
Rynkowski takes a shot to the head.
Rynkowski has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rynkowski blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Rynkowski bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Son slips a jab and a cross from Rynkowski.
Son is looking to clinch but Rynkowski is avoiding it.
Rynkowski throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rynkowski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Son fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rynkowski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Son is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Chang Sun Son.
Son cracks Rynkowski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rynkowski keeps the fight on the outside.
Son moves in looking to clinch but Rynkowski pushes him off.
Son closes the distance but Rynkowski moves to the side
and Rynkowski counters with a series of strikes. Son will be more careful next time no doubt.

Chang Sun Son seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Son is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Rynkowski.

and Rynkowski counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Son has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

A less than humble Ryszard Rynkowski misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
