The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Randleman looks to throw the jab but Drake is out of range.
Randleman throws a leg kick but Drake sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Randleman looks to score with a jab to the body but Drake is just out of range.
Randleman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drake manages to avoid it.
Randleman fails to land the takedown.

Drake takes the fight into the clinch.

Drake turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Randleman sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Randleman looks to land a combination but Drake avoids it well.
Good work by Randleman as he checks the leg kick.
Randleman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Drake uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Randleman.
Randleman misses with a two punch combination.

Drake breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Randleman keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Drake counters with a solid body kick.
Drake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Randleman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A punch combination from Randleman misses.
Randleman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Randleman.

Drake looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Randleman!

Drake is landing with some decent strikes but Randleman is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
BOOM! Drake connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Randleman wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Drake swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Randleman is now in Drake's guard. A big mistake from Drake there, giving up the dominant position!

Drake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Randleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Randleman is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
