Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Victor Sagat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Lehtonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sagat comes to the cage accompanied by His own theme music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Victor Sagat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jari Lehtonen!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sagat throws a head kick that misses.
Sagat tries to work over Lehtonen's front leg with a kick but Lehtonen checks it.
Sagat stuffs the takedown.
Sagat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lehtonen is looking to clinch but Sagat is avoiding it.
Some bone on bone action there as Lehtonen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Sagat misses with a body shot.
Sagat throws a head kick but Lehtonen moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Sagat. That snapped Lehtonen's head back.
It looks like Jari Lehtonen has been cut.
Sagat fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lehtonen checks it well.
Lehtonen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lehtonen can't break the clinch.
Sagat works on Lehtonen's body with a couple of short punches.
A knee to the head by Lehtonen.
Lehtonen is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sagat gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lehtonen manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Sagat.
Sagat tries to score with a low kick but Lehtonen moves his leg out of the way.
Sagat throws a head kick that misses.
Lehtonen checks a low kick from Sagat.
Sagat throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick lands from Sagat that sends Lehtonen to the canvas. Lehtonen tries to scramble back to his feet but Sagat brings him back down into side control.
Lehtonen is rocked!
Lehtonen tries to escape but Sagat is in control.
Lehtonen is still in real trouble! Can Sagat finish him?
Lehtonen gets back to half guard.
Lehtonen works his way to full guard. Good work.
Lehtonen seems to have recovered his senses.
Lehtonen looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lehtonen working for a triangle but Sagat defends it easily.
Lehtonen has his foot on Sagat's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sagat works his way back into a safe position though.
Lehtonen looks gassed!
Lehtonen being controlled here, momentarily.

Lehtonen tries to strike from the bottom.
Sagat sitting in guard here, content to control.
Lehtonen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sagat is one step ahead there.
Lehtonen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lehtonen manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lehtonen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lehtonen throws a head kick but Sagat moves out of range.
Lehtonen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sagat paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sagat tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sagat circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Lehtonen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Sagat follows Lehtonen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Sagat!
