Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diziz Sparta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Tippin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparta's entrance music is Just like you imagined - 300 theme. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tippin leaves Sparta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sparta tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tippin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tippin shoots in looking for a takedown but Sparta manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tippin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tippin, as that shot connected.
Tippin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sparta back to the cage. Tippin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sparta is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tippin asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Sparta is breathing heavily.
Tippin throws an elbow but Sparta slips to the side and avoids it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Pete Tippin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
