A fine choice. Crimson Tide will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bomb moves into the clinch.
Tide can't break the clinch.
Bomb is trying to maintain a safe position but Tide gets an underhook and turns Bomb into the cage.
Bomb fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Bomb lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Crimson Tide has been cut.
Tide takes an elbow to the forehead.
Bomb is looking to control Tide's arms but Tide gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bomb has his back to the cage.
Bomb is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Bomb lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Tide throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bomb was covering up waiting for the punch and Tide finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bomb is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tide tries to get to full guard but Bomb has control of the leg.
Tide trying to hold on to Bomb's head to control him but Bomb postures up.
Bomb drops an elbow to the side of Tide's head.

Bomb is looking for a kimura but Tide is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bomb to get the leverage.

Bomb is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Tide is pressing down on Bomb's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Bomb is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tide looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bomb puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Bomb decides to stand and escape the position.
Tide swats away the attempt to clinch by Bomb.
Bomb fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tide shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bomb sprawls well. Bomb wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tide gets slowly back to his feet.
Adam Bomb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Crimson Tide.

Tide shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bomb but Bomb pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bomb creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Tide's defenses.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Bomb creates some distance and fires off a vicious elbow that drops Tide! He pounces and finishes the fight with more strikes! Nice KO for Bomb.
