The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage takes one on the button.


It looks like Wilson Rage has been cut.

Australia shoots in and bounces Rage off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Rage trying to control the position.

Australia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Australia won't allow Rage to sweep him here.
Australia trying to control but Rage is working from the bottom.
Australia trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rage wants to sweep here but Australia controlling him for the moment.

Rage has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Australia can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rage lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Australia !

Rage is working for a guillotine from mount but Australia frees his head quite easily.

Rage is landing with some decent strikes but Australia is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Rage postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Australia looks a forlorn figure.

Rage is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Australia is surviving well by controlling Rage's body position as best he can.

Rage with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Australia is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Rage trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Rage fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Rage unloads with some shots from mount but Australia bucks and avoids them well.
Australia regains half guard.
Rage thows a huge punch but Australia dodges it nicely.
Rage throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Australia looking for subs from the bottom but Rage mounts him!

Rage has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Australia is forced to tap!
