Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fitzwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ewan Turnbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fitzwater comes to the cage accompanied by endeverafter- no more words. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Fitzwater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ewan Turnbull!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzwater dives in and grabs Turnbull's left leg, looking for a takedown. Turnbull pushes down on Fitzwater's head and hops out.
Fitzwater closes the distance looking to clinch

and Turnbull decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fitzwater's guard.

Fitzwater looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Turnbull tries to stand but Fitzwater is controlling from the bottom.
Fitzwater is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fitzwater trying to keep a closed guard but Turnbull is proving a slippery customer.
Turnbull won't allow Fitzwater to sweep him here.
Turnbull tries to stand but Fitzwater is controlling from the bottom.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ewan Turnbull hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Fitzwater shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Turnbull as he jumps to the side.
Fitzwater shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Turnbull as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Fitzwater. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fitzwater tries for a takedown but Turnbull circles away easily

and Turnbull counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Turnbull.
Fitzwater tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Fitzwater is breathing heavily.

Turnbull gets to his feet. Fitzwater looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Turnbull shoots in looking for a takedown. Fitzwater tries to sprawl out of it but Turnbull keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fitzwater manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Turnbull counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fitzwater's guard now.

Turnbull stands and steps away. Fitzwater gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Turnbull misses with a takedown attempt - Fitzwater sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fitzwater will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fitzwater fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Turnbull shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Fitzwater napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Turnbull decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Turnbull shoots in but Fitzwater avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Turnbull shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turnbull is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fitzwater sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fitzwater defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Turnbull.
Fitzwater will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Turnbull counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fitzwater won't be happy with that.
Fitzwater tries to improve position but can't.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Turnbull decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Fitzwater leaves Turnbull with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fitzwater shoots in but Turnbull avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Turnbull gets a double leg takedown into Fitzwater's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Turnbull stands up from Fitzwater's guard - Turnbull perhaps looking for a knockout.

Fitzwater stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fitzwater wants it to stay on the feet.
No joy there for Fitzwater, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jack Fitzwater has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ewan Turnbull.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Fitzwater just wasn't active enough.
Turnbull dives in and grabs Fitzwater's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fitzwater pushes down on Turnbull's head and hops out.
Turnbull shoots for a double leg takedown but Fitzwater sprawls well. He's pushed Turnbull's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Turnbull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Turnbull looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Turnbull dives in and grabs Fitzwater's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fitzwater pushes down on Turnbull's head and hops out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ewan Turnbull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Turnbull blocks a head kick by Fitzwater.

Fitzwater rushes Turnbull and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fitzwater wants to break the clinch but can't.
Fitzwater tries to circle away but Turnbull has him pinned against the cage.
Fitzwater tries to score a body lock takedown but Turnbull shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fitzwater is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Turnbull to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Fitzwater. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fitzwater tries to pull guard but Turnbull holds him up against the cage and eventually Fitzwater drops back down to his feet.
Fitzwater is looking to take this one to the mat.
Turnbull has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Fitzwater is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Turnbull wants to take the fight to the mat but Fitzwater manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fitzwater jumps guard but Turnbull stands there with Fitzwater around his waist. Fitzwater gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Turnbull decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fitzwater to his feet.
Turnbull shoots for a takedown but Fitzwater saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fitzwater throws a head kick but Turnbull moves out of range.

Fitzwater has a takedown stuffed.
Turnbull looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Turnbull shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fitzwater as he avoids it easily.

Turnbull shoots in for a takedown but Fitzwater shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Turnbull moves away from the strike by Fitzwater.

I would just about give that final round to Ewan Turnbull.
I've got Turnbull winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
