Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Demikovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Magenta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Demikovic comes into the arena with Russian National Anthem blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mr Magenta!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magenta throws a jab but it's blocked by Demikovic.
Demikovic shoots in looking for a takedown. Magenta tries to sprawl out of it but Demikovic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magenta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Demikovic misses with a takedown attempt
and Magenta counters with a nice uppercut.
Magenta catches Demikovic with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Demikovic shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Magenta is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Demikovic pulls his head out easily.
Magenta makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Magenta.
Magenta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Demikovic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We're going to have a standup here because Nicolai Demikovic wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Demikovic misses with a wild combination.
Demikovic closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Magenta did well to prevent Demikovic getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magenta is looking to improve his position.
Magenta is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Demikovic's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Demikovic's back!

Magenta lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Magenta.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oooh a big shot gets through from Magenta. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Magenta is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Magenta gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Magenta gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Magenta apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Demikovic shoots in for a takedown but Magenta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolai Demikovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

so Demikovic counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Magenta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Demikovic gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Magenta is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Magenta had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Demikovic defends it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Magenta is pressed up against the cage. Demikovic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Magenta down to the mat. Magenta avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Demikovic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magenta tries to avoid it but Demikovic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magenta to the ground. Magenta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Demikovic takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Magenta pushes a forearm under Demikovic's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Demikovic is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
