Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuai Lai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thulani Imamu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lai comes to the cage accompanied by CKY - Chinese Rap. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thulani Imamu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imamu lands with a nice combination. Lai backs away looking to recover.
Imamu throws a right and a left that Lai avoids nicely.

Lai clinches up with Imamu and pushes him back against the cage.
Imamu has Lai pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lai manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lai keeps control of Imamu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Lai throws a knee to the head but misses.
Lai stops a takedown attempt from Imamu.
Imamu is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lai gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kuai Lai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thulani Imamu.

Lai is pressed up against the cage. Imamu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lai down to the mat. Lai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lai misses with a head kick.
Lai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Imamu.
Lai tries to close the distance and clinch up but Imamu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lai throws a right hand that Imamu ducks under and follows up with a left that Imamu also avoids with ease.
Imamu misses with a double jab.
Imamu misses with a few strikes there.
Lai goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lai tries to clinch there but Imamu circles away.
Lai throws a sloppy head kick and Imamu moves out of range easily.
Imamu fails with a takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Lai.
Imamu looks gassed!
Lai lands a head kick. Imamu smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

and Lai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Imamu keeps the fight on the outside.
Lai pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Imamu is rocked!
Lai moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Imamu misses with a looping left.
Lai fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No joy there for Imamu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Lai wants to clinch.
Imamu cracks a nice hook into Lai's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Lai plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lai, right into the meat.
Imamu takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Imamu steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lai. That one must have hurt.
Lai throws a leg kick which misses Imamu's front leg but catches the back leg as Imamu tries to avoid it.
Imamu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lai doesn't manage to clinch there - Imamu circles away.
Imamu misses with the combination.
Imamu drops Lai with a beautiful combination! Lai stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Imamu is looking for the KO!

Lai is rocked!

It looks like Kuai Lai has been cut.
Imamu connects with a stiff jab that staggers Lai - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
