Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George St pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masato Kunaida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St pierre bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
St pierre throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Kunaida counter with a right hand.
St pierre throws a combination that misses
and Kunaida counters with an inside leg kick.
Kunaida feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to St pierre's calf.
St pierre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kunaida sprawls well. Kunaida wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. St pierre gets slowly back to his feet.
Kunaida fakes high and swings low for a body shot but St pierre manages to avoid it.
St pierre really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kunaida scores with a decent looking hook.
St pierre takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Kunaida is looking to stand up but St pierre isn't so interested in that idea.

St pierre drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kunaida dives on top into guard.

St pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kunaida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but St pierre is tightening it up a little... Kunaida has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kunaida reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kunaida taps out! Nice BJJ there by St pierre!
