Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Wyrzykowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting. Michal Wyrzykowski is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Joe Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michal Wyrzykowski!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson clinches up with Wyrzykowski and pushes him back against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Michal Wyrzykowski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wyrzykowski is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Jackson reverses the position - he's now on top in Wyrzykowski's guard.

Jackson has gone for a leg lock! Wyrzykowski slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jackson's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wyrzykowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wyrzykowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wyrzykowski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Wyrzykowski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jackson shoots for a double leg takedown but Wyrzykowski sprawls well. He's pushed Jackson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
