Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Judd Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Land Down Under. The key to victory for Judd Foster has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mason slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Mason passes Foster's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Mason seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mason looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Mason is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Foster is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

In his post fight interview, Carl Mason started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
