Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruud Rikjaared (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rikjaared looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rikjaared looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Mann on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Rikjaared not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Mann pushes Rikjaared off looking to stand but Rikjaared dives back in and keeps control.

Rikjaared is nestled in close to Mann, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rikjaared is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Rikjaared lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Rikjaared is trying to control. Mann wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Mann pushes Rikjaared off and gets back to his feet.

Rikjaared gets the takedown into side control.
Mann sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Rikjaared drops an elbow to the side of Mann's head.
Rikjaared seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mann gets back to full guard.

Mann has an active guard here but Rikjaared has managed to pass into half guard.
Rikjaared is stalling here. Mann is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Rikjaared seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mann has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Rikjaared is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Mann tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mann has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mann prevents Rikjaared from escaping the position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rikjaared is looking to get back to his feet here but Mann is keeping cool and he's managed to take Rikjaared's back.
