Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derrick Kidder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zack Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kidder clinches.
Kidder lands with a right to the head.

Kidder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chaos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chaos circles away from the clinch attempt
and Chaos makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Derrick Kidder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chaos.
Chaos keeps the fight on the outside.
Chaos takes one to the side of the head.
Kidder misses with a double jab.
Kidder missing with a left hand there. Chaos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kidder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chaos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kidder gets tackled into the cage by Chaos. Chaos maintains the clinch.
Kidder wants to break the clinch but can't.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chaos goes for a takedown attempt but Kidder pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kidder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chaos manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Chaos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kidder tries to clinch up.
Chaos feints and then cracks Kidder's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kidder down.
Kidder tries to clinch up but Chaos circles away and keeps his distance.
Kidder wants to clinch up but Chaos keeps it at a distance.
Kidder tries to close the distance and clinch but Chaos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kidder is looking to clinch but Chaos is avoiding it.
Kidder is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Chaos or perhaps it was just good defense by Kidder which made him look bad.
Derrick Kidder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zack Chaos.
Chaos misses the shot to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kidder uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chaos has time to react.
Kidder is looking to clinch but Chaos is avoiding it.
Kidder tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chaos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kidder throws a shot from downtown. Chaos moves away and avoids it.

Kidder pushes Chaos up against the cage in a clinch.

Chaos manages to pull guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Chaos pushes Kidder off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chaos defending well as Kidder loads up on a big left hand.
Kidder sizes up Chaos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Chaos takes one on the chin but seems OK.


Chaos is rocked!

Chaos closes the distance and pushes Kidder back into the cage.
Chaos is still on wobbly legs! Can Kidder finish him?
Kidder pushes Chaos against the cage. Kidder is working some dirty boxing. Kidder pushes off with a quick right hook! Chaos goes down! Chaos tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Kidder moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Derrick Kidder!
Derrick Kidder was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
