Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Voorhees (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Diesel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Voorhees could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mac Diesel's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diesel closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Diesel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Diesel gets to mount! Voorhees was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Voorhees is wriggling around trying to escape.
Diesel controlling from the full mount.
Voorhees sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Diesel controlling the pace.
Voorhees tries to kick Diesel off in order to stand up. Diesel Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Voorhees is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Diesel controlling the position.
Voorhees is looking to reverse the position.
Diesel remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Voorhees tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Diesel presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Diesel avoids the attempt from Voorhees to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diesel controlling the pace for now.
Voorhees's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Diesel controlling his opponent.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mac Diesel just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Voorhees swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Diesel counters by clinching up.
Voorhees is breathing heavily.
Diesel lands a nice uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Diesel.
Diesel lands a left hand that snaps the head of Voorhees backwards.
Diesel stalling the fight.

Diesel decides to pull guard.
Diesel wants to get back to his feet but Voorhees is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Diesel tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Diesel manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Voorhees dodges the punch combination from Diesel.
Diesel throws a looping overhand right but Voorhees ducks down to avoid it.
Voorhees closes the distance looking to clinch
and Diesel counters with a thumping low kick.

Diesel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Diesel takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Voorhees tries to hold on but Diesel postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mac Diesel dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Voorhees tries to clinch but Diesel moves away
and Diesel counters with a leg kick.
Voorhees is looking to clinch.
Voorhees lands a really nice looking cross but Diesel seems unphased.

It looks like Mac Diesel has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Diesel.
Diesel circles away from the clinch attempt
and Diesel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Voorhees closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Diesel counter with a right hand.
Voorhees closes the distance but Diesel moves to the side
and Diesel counters with a nice low kick that buckles Voorhees's knee momentarily.
Diesel throws a looping overhand right but Voorhees ducks down to avoid it.
Diesel lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Diesel lands a right hook to the body.
Voorhees tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Voorhees takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

enabling Diesel to counter with a crisp jab.
Jason Voorhees is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Diesel drives through and clinches with Voorhees against the cage.
Voorhees takes a shot to the head.

Voorhees lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Diesel is rocked!
Diesel is breathing heavily.
Voorhees creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Diesel's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Diesel drops to his knees and Voorhees pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
