The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Adams.
Adams ducks right into an uppercut from Valor.

Adams shoots in but Valor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Adams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Nice takedown defense from Valor. No joy for Adams on that attempt.

Adams lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Valor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Adams is breathing heavily.
Valor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Adams's head.
Valor scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Adams shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valor but Valor pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Adams looks for a takedown but Valor sprawls well.
Valor uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Adams on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Valor, as that shot connected.
Adams misses with a takedown attempt - Valor sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Valor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Adams takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Valor throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Adams misses with a two punch combination.

Valor lands a big head kick that sends Adams tumbling to the mat! Valor takes a step backwards and waves Adams back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Adams is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Valor throws a front kick that sends Adams stumbling back into the cage.
Oh Adams is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Valor is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Adams had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Valor. Adams shrugs it off though.
Valor throws a pinpoint strike between Adams's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Adams crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Valor scores a great knockout victory!
