The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Overeem.
Kafok misses with an uppercut. Overeem saw that one coming.
Kafok throws a right hand that misses

and Overeem counters by moving into the clinch.
Kafok is trying to break free.
Kafok avoids the elbow strike from Overeem, against the cage.
Overeem lands a left hand.

Overeem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Overeem forces Kafok back against the cage and clinches.
Overeem looking to throw knees to the head but Kafok is blocking nicely.
Overeem has Kafok pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kafok manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
With the fighters up against the cage, Overeem throws an elbow but misses.
Overeem has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kafok avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Overeem lands with a light punch inside.
Overeem drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kafok gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Overeem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kafok throws the left hand but Overeem avoids the punch easily.

Overeem has closed the distance and engaged Kafok in a clinch.
Kafok tries to break free but Overeem pushes him back against the cage.
Overeem has Kafok pressed against the cage, preventing Kafok from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Overeem manages to break the clinch.
Kafok throws a lazy right hand but Overeem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kafok wants to get back to striking at distance but Overeem won't allow it.

Overeem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Overeem avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Overeem uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kafok.

Overeem has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kafok uses from the top position.

Overeem has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kafok finds it's way round the side to connect with Overeem's head.
Kafok cracks Overeem with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Overeem falls to his knees and Kafok doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
