Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohsin Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cleryston McCloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McCloud paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ali throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Ali drops down looking for an ankle pick but McCloud pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Ali wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but McCloud has him pressed against the cage.

Ali has had enough of the clinch but McCloud keeps him there for the moment.
McCloud has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ali is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

McCloud shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McCloud showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
McCloud wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ali keeps working.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCloud manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ali to take his back!
Even with his hooks in, McCloud manages to miss with strikes from the back.

McCloud goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Ali escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Ali stands up out of the half guard.
Horrible takedown by Ali or perhaps it was just good defense by McCloud which made him look bad.
McCloud fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ali tries to close the distance and clinch but McCloud swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ali shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCloud as he avoids it easily.
Ali is breathing heavily.

Ali changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCloud tries to avoid it but Ali manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCloud to the ground. McCloud escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McCloud throws a wild body kick that Ali sees coming a mile off.
Ali fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McCloud avoids it really well and circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McCloud passes to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Cleryston McCloud will probably get the nod.

McCloud pushes a forearm under Ali's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ali is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
