The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sato fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Clown to the ground. Sato is now in Clown's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sato slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Sato is trying to get an arm triangle but Clown is defending well.
Clown is looking for a sweep.
Clown is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Sato is controlling him well.
Sato works to advance to full mount. Clown defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Sato with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Clown is trying to escape the mount.
Clown flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
