Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oswaldo Barra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oswaldo Barra could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Junior Sanchez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez slips a jab and a cross from Barra.

Barra shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Barra was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Barra has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Barra throwing strikes here but Sanchez is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Sanchez tries to buck Barra off but he can't manage it.
Barra throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sanchez because Barra loaded up on that one.

Sanchez wants to try and get back to his feet.

Barra is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Sanchez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Sanchez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Barra anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sanchez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Barra slips an arm under Sanchez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Barra has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Barra is squeezing on Sanchez like an anaconda would it's prey. Sanchez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
