Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tony McFist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Nash!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McFist.
Nash throws a right hand that McFist ducks under and follows up with a left that McFist also avoids with ease.
McFist looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

McFist shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nash's guard.
McFist tries to free his leg and advance position but Nash is retaining full guard.
McFist trying to control the position from guard on top but Nash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McFist is looking to advance position but Nash has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
McFist is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nash lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Nash tries to control but McFist wriggling away.

McFist stops Nash from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

McFist is desperately trying to improve his position but Nash has a good base and remains in mount.
McFist looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!
McFist rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
McFist is breathing heavily.

McFist is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nash pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McFist taking some punishment here, with Nash in his half guard.
Nash trying to control the action but McFist is working from the bottom.
McFist is looking to improve his position.

Nash has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
McFist prevents Nash from taking his back.
Nash lands a nice shot to the head.

Nash is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McFist can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Nash with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Nash looking for a guillotine from mount but McFist is having none of it.

McFist sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

McFist is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nash's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nash's back!

McFist is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

McFist looking to break Nash's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Nash remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise McFist will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

McFist is trying to stick to Nash's back but Nash is turning into McFist. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in McFist's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Nash.

Nash thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
McFist manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Nash really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

McFist working for a guillotine from mount but Nash is in no mood to give up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Eddie Nash will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nash throws a series of punches but McFist moves out of range.
McFist gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Nash.
Nash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Nash takes the fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McFist is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Nash has picked McFist up - he's going for a ride! Nash dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
McFist is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nash scores with a couple of nice shots.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nash is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
McFist wants to get back to full guard.
McFist is refusing to be controlled, as Nash sits in half guard.
Nash is stalling here. McFist is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nash seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McFist has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

McFist manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nash's guard. Nice work there by McFist.

Nash is looking for a triangle but McFist pushes his legs off easily.
Nash is looking to stand up but McFist isn't so interested in that idea.
Nash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
McFist works his way to full guard. Good work.
McFist wants to improve his position but instead Nash has moved into half guard.

McFist looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McFist slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Nash won't allow McFist to sweep him here.
Nash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McFist is keeping the position for now.

McFist looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Nash is defending well. McFist quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Nash has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! McFist celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
