Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grant Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Mabuva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett is looking to score with low kicks.
Barnett ducks under a wild hook from Mabuva.
Barnett moves away from the strike by Mabuva.
Barnett throws a looping overhand right but Mabuva ducks down to avoid it.
Mabuva walks into a jab.
Barnett slips a straight right by Mabuva.
Barnett throws a head kick that misses.
Barnett lands a nice shot to the body.

Mabuva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Barnett wants to slow Mabuva down by chopping away at his legs.

Mabuva tries to bum rush Barnett with a series of wild strikes but Barnett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Mabuva misses with an uppercut. Barnett saw that one coming.
Mabuva has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Barnett.

Barnett stuns Mabuva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mabuva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barnett throws out the jab.

Barnett walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mabuva checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Mabuva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Barnett on the side of the head.
Barnett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mabuva.
Barnett throws out a leg kick but Mabuva moves out of range and Barnett only half commits.
Barnett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Mabuva gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Barnett does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mabuva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Barnett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mabuva.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barnett is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mabuva can do to turn this around?
