And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Waiyu Maddo!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maddo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Maddo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kazarian.
Maddo throws a sloppy head kick and Kazarian moves out of range easily.
Maddo stuffs the takedown attempt from Kazarian. Kazarian gets slowly back to his feet.
Kazarian avoids a kick to the body.

Kazarian closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maddo to the mat! Maddo manages to get full guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Maddo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazarian. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Maddo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maddo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kazarian postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Maddo out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Kazarian goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

A relieved looking Tom Kazarian thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
