Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cleryston McCloud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cortney Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cortney Baker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCloud keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McCloud tries to clinch
and McCloud takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
McCloud throws a sloppy head kick and Baker moves out of range easily.
Baker leaves McCloud with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
McCloud tries for a takedown but Baker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Baker misses with a two punch combination.
Baker shoots in for a takedown but McCloud shows good takedown defense.
McCloud tries to clinch there but Baker circles away.
Baker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baker wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cleryston McCloud. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Baker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCloud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baker as he jumps to the side.

Baker moves into range and clinches up with McCloud.
Baker keeps control of McCloud as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

McCloud is looking to take this one to the mat.

McCloud manages to pull guard.
Baker is looking to stand up but McCloud won't let him.
Baker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Baker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCloud. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McCloud had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baker defends it easily.
McCloud lands a couple of shots from the bottom.

McCloud is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Baker is stalling in the full guard.
Baker in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Baker looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

McCloud controls Baker momentarily but Baker frees himself.

Baker got a little sloppy there for a moment and McCloud has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baker has managed to get both his arms back between McCloud's legs - danger averted.
McCloud is breathing heavily.
Baker trying to control the position from guard on top but McCloud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baker throws a big right hand that misses.
Baker tries to free his leg and advance position but McCloud is retaining full guard.
McCloud is trying to keep Baker in close.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Cortney Baker.
McCloud shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baker but Baker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McCloud has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Baker is trying to keep an underhook but McCloud manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Baker is trying to stand up here but McCloud is controlling him well.
Baker moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCloud forces his way into half guard.

McCloud wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baker keeps working.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Cleryston McCloud wasn't doing enough on the ground.
McCloud throws a head kick but Baker moves out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Baker closes the distance and clinches.

Baker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McCloud gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Baker to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Baker wants to control from the top but McCloud keeps moving.
Baker won't allow McCloud to get back to his feet.
Baker stands and throws McCloud's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Baker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McCloud, who protects the arm well.

Baker is chipping away with strikes.
Baker wants to lay and pray for a moment but McCloud keeps working.
McCloud might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Baker creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
The strikes coming from Baker are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Baker scores with a couple of short elbows.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McCloud is letting Baker control him for a moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCloud gets back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cortney Baker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Baker thuds his shin into the meat of McCloud's side.
Baker throws a head kick but McCloud moves out of range.
McCloud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baker as he jumps to the side.
McCloud takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

McCloud is rocked!

Baker dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! McCloud has had enough and taps out.
