Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thane Krios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chip Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thane Krios!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Chip Douglas!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas moves away from the strike by Krios.
Douglas is trying hard to land a takedown here. Krios sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Douglas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Krios.
Krios ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Krios swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Krios fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Douglas manages to avoid it.
Douglas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krios swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Douglas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Douglas dives in and grabs Krios's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krios pushes down on Douglas's head and hops out.

Douglas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krios as he jumps to the side.
Thane Krios has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chip Douglas.
Douglas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krios avoids it really well and circles away.
Krios just misses with a punch to the body.
Krios throws a hook but Douglas avoids it easily.
Douglas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Krios.
Krios lands with a nice body punch.
Thane Krios is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Douglas slips a jab from Krios.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Krios enables Douglas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Krios manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Douglas drops back looking for a leg! Krios is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Krios manages to kick Douglas off! Douglas jumps back into Krios's guard.

Krios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Krios looking for a sweep. Not yet Krios, not yet.
Douglas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Krios on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Krios tries to get out of the position.
Krios looking to hit a scissor sweep but Douglas is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Douglas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Krios knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Douglas on the ground.
Douglas postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Krios wants to sweep here but Douglas controlling him for the moment.

Douglas drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Douglas as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Krios screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Douglas! Nice submission victory there!
