The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brock tries to clinch but Is moves out of range.

Is takes the fight into the clinch.
Brock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Is is defending well for now.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Is tries to work over Brock's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Brock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Brock is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Is.
Brock is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Brock uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Is.
Some bone on bone action there as Is checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Pen Is seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Is displaying some good clinch control by pressing Brock up against the ropes.
Brock connects with a nasty looking knee right to Is's face.
Brock is looking to break free of the clinch but Is has double underhooks.
Is pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Is misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Brock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Brock tries to break free but Is pushes him back against the ropes.

Is is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Is breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Is tries to clinch but Brock is having none of it.

Brock fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brock on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Is is looking to chop away at Brock's legs.
Is throws a leg kick but Brock sees it coming and moves out of range.

Is thuds a left hand into Brock's body.
Is is looking to score with low kicks.
A looping hook to the body misses from Is. Brock does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brock does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Brock swats away the attempt to clinch by Is.
Is avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Is swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brock wants to clinch up but Is keeps it at a distance.

Is takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Brock walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Is checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Is lands a jab to Brock's midsection.
Is throws a right hand that misses
and Brock counters with a left and a right that stings Is.
Is will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Is looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Is fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brock manages to avoid it.

Brock gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Is keeps control of Brock as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Is throws an elbow but it misses.
Is is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.

A close round but Pen Is will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Is takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Is throws a low kick but Brock avoids it.
Is bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brock moves in looking to clinch but Is pushes him off.
Is feints and then cracks Brock's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brock down.
Brock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Iss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Is misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brock.
Eddie Brock is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters circling a little - Is finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Brock closes the distance and clinches.
Is tries to throw a body punch but Brock avoids it by throwing Is back against the ropes.
Brock avoids the elbow strike from Is, against the ropes.

Pen Is seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Is lands a really nice looking cross but Brock seems unphased.

and Is counters with a nice leg kick.
Is tries to work over Brock's front leg with a kick but Brock checks it.

Brock tries to close the distance and clinch but Is swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Brock takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Is lands with a hook. Brock tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
