Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cristian Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pablo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Pablo is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Pablo is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer.

It looks like Pablo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Pablo Pablo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
