Bighorn throws out a loose jab but Apene uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bighorn bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Apene's head.

Bighorn takes a swing at Apene's ribcage but misses.

Bighorn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Apene to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Apene has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Apene is keen to just control but Bighorn is a slippery customer.
