Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hotoke Aata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Esquiva Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aata moves away.
Aata fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Falcao scores with a hook to the body. Aata takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Aata dives in and grabs Falcao's left leg, looking for a takedown. Falcao pushes down on Aata's head and hops out.
Aata uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Falcao.

Aata looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Falcao is fending him off so far but Aata persists. Nope, Falcao circles away and we're back to standing.

Falcao leaves Aata with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Aata shoots in but Falcao avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Aata manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Falcao on his heels. He'll look to pass Falcao's guard now, I'm sure.

Aata is looking to work some ground and pound but Falcao has wrist control.
Aata has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Esquiva Falcao hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Aata displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Falcao throws out the jab.
Falcao bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aata's head.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Falcao takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Falcao manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Falcao pushes Aata back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Falcao has Aata pushed against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Falcao.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aata slips a jab and a cross from Falcao.
Aata changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Falcao tries to avoid it but Aata manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Falcao to the ground. Falcao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Falcao drops Aata onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Aata is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Falcao pushes Aata back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Falcao unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Aata! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Falcao is unloading with more strikes now! Aata drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
