Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mr Planet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kicky McPuncherton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Planet comes to the ring accompanied by 2001. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kicky McPuncherton!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planet tries to clinch up.
Nice cross by Planet.

It looks like Kicky McPuncherton has been cut.
Planet takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Planet throws a right and a left that both miss.

Planet lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and McPuncherton goes down! The ref sends Planet to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and McPuncherton is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Planet tries to land a front kick but McPuncherton steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Sloppy strikes from Planet. Those never looked like landing.
McPuncherton throws a push kick but Planet slaps the foot to one side.
Planet turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McPuncherton avoids a punch combination nicely.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as McPuncherton checks a leg kick.
Planet throws a shot to the body.
McPuncherton looks winded!
Planet misses with a leg kick
and Planet takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Planet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No joy there for Planet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Planet tries to clinch
and McPuncherton counters with a right hand to the body.
Planet throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McPuncherton counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Planet tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. McPuncherton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mr Planet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McPuncherton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McPuncherton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Planet throws a nice looking combination but McPuncherton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Planet fakes the leg kick and cracks McPuncherton in the body.
Planet throws a right and a left that McPuncherton avoids nicely.
McPuncherton jabs Planet right on the nose. Planet blinks but takes it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McPuncherton just misses with a punch to the body.

Planet looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Planet closes the distance and pushes McPuncherton back into the ropes.
McPuncherton slowing the pace effectively.
McPuncherton letting Planet take a breather here.
McPuncherton misses with some punches.
McPuncherton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
McPuncherton has had enough of the clinch but Planet keeps him there for the moment.
Planet can't break the clinch.
Planet has McPuncherton pressed against the ropes, preventing McPuncherton from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Planet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Planet shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

McPuncherton walks into a big right hand from Planet and goes down! The referee sends Planet to a neutral corner as McPuncherton gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Planet tries to bum rush McPuncherton with a series of wild strikes but McPuncherton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Planet throws a combination that misses
and McPuncherton counters with a solid body kick.
Planet wants to clinch up but McPuncherton keeps it at a distance.
McPuncherton misses with a looping left.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from McPuncherton. Planet shrugs it off though.
Planet connects with a quick right hand that sends McPuncherton tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
