Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cristiano Nascimento (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake lands a lovely overhand right.
Nascimento takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Blake walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Nascimento checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blake just misses with a punch to the body.
Blake takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Blake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nascimento throws out the jab.
Nascimento looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nascimento throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blake sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Nascimento.
Nascimento looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Nascimento with a nice cross.
Blake rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nascimento moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blake moves in looking to clinch but Nascimento pushes him off.
Nascimento rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Blake counters with a slapping leg kick.
Nascimento throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nascimento lands with an overhand left.
Nascimento lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blake misses with a right hand
and Nascimento counters with a nice body shot.
Nascimento scores with a jab. Blake acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Blake just misses with a punch to the body.
Blake throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Nascimento sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nascimento throws a chopping leg kick but Blake manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Blake throws out a leg kick but Nascimento moves out of range and Blake only half commits.
Nascimento steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blake.
Blake avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A good leg kick by Nascimento.
Blake misses with a hook
and Nascimento finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Blake is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nascimento, right into the meat.

Nascimento steps in with a hook that catches Blake right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Nascimento follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Blake looks absolutely devastated.
