The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punk throws a nice looking combination but Fredrickson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Punk.
Ike Fredrickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fredrickson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Punk quickly recovers to half guard.

Fredrickson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Punk for as long as he can get away with.

Fredrickson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Punk scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Fredrickson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Fredrickson stands and salutes the crowd.
