Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rorion Joaquin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kip Flint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rorion Joaquin looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Flint or perhaps it was just good defense by Joaquin which made him look bad.
Flint tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Joaquin swivels and escapes.
Flint will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rorion Joaquin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kip Flint.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Joaquin is defended easily by Flint.
Flint shoots in for a takedown but Joaquin shows good takedown defense.
Joaquin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Flint is fending him off so far but Joaquin persists. Nope, Flint circles away and we're back to standing.
Joaquin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Flint shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Joaquin defends it nicely.

Flint scores with a takedown into Joaquin's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Joaquin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Flint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joaquin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Flint advances position into side control!
Joaquin is breathing heavily.

Flint content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Joaquin tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Flint wants to control but Joaquin is keeping him busy.
Flint tries to score with some ground and pound. Joaquin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Flint throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Joaquin works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Flint thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Joaquin is refusing to be controlled, as Flint sits in half guard.
Flint is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Joaquin moves into full guard.
Flint trying to control the position from guard on top but Joaquin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kip Flint.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Flint.
Joaquin manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Joaquin has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Flint defend it? Joaquin steps over the head and cranks it - Flint is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Joaquin!
