Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Josh Malone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaco Shaco!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malone cracks the inside of Shaco's front leg.
Malone scores with a jab to the body.
Shaco looks winded!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Malone throws a head kick but Shaco moves out of range.
Shaco tries for a takedown but Malone circles away easily
and Malone counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Malone lands a jab.


It looks like Jaco Shaco has been cut.
Malone misses with a wild body shot.
Shaco should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Malone swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Malone has Shaco up against the cage in a clinch.

Malone gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Shaco regains guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Malone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Malone stands up over Shaco, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Malone has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Shaco has momentary wrist control but Malone slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malone controlling from the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Malone landing with the ground and pound.
Malone is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Malone throwing strikes but missing.
Malone stands and throws Shaco's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Malone scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Shaco is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Malone can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Josh Malone!
In his post fight interview, Josh Malone started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
