Abdulmuslimov comes to the cage accompanied by Chechen Lezginka. Brian Pagan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pagan slaps away a takedown attempt from Abdulmuslimov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A head kick misses from Abdulmuslimov.
Abdulmuslimov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Abdulmuslimov misses with the combination.
Pagan fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Abdulmuslimov on the side of the head.
Pagan scores with a nice strike.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pagan lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Abdulmuslimov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Pagan from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Abdulmuslimov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
