PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baal Zebub (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Clark might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nas Ft. Puffy - Hate Me Now. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Baal Zebub!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zebub moves out of range of the strikes.
Clark throws a sloppy head kick
and Zebub counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Clark rushes Zebub and presses him up against the cage.
Clark avoiding damage.
Zebub is trying to push Clark away but Clark has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Zebub scores with a shot to the side of Clark's head.
Zebub jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Clark walks away with a smile on his face. Zebub gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Zebub circles away from the clinch attempt.
Clark is looking to clinch but Zebub is avoiding it.
Zebub fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clark.
Danny Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zebub swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zebub throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Zebub tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Clark is able to avoid easily.
Clark throws a lazy head kick
and Zebub counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zebub lands with a kick to the ribs.
Some wild striking there from Clark.

Zebub rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Clark moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Clark is looking to clinch but Zebub is avoiding it.
Clark loads up on a big right hand but Zebub slips the punch.
Clark throws a sloppy head kick and Zebub moves out of range easily.
Zebub wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Clark tries to clinch but Zebub is having none of it.
Zebub looks for the body kick but Clark saw that one coming.
Clark rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zebub moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Zebub lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clark will feel that in the morning.
Clark is breathing heavily.
Clark throws a sloppy head kick
and Zebub counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Clark drops his hands momentarily and Zebub takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Danny Clark has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Zebub misses with a series of wild punches.
Zebub lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zebub cracks Clark with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Clark tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Zebub pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Clark is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baal Zebub!
After winning the bout, Baal Zebub thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
