Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Matice Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Swag Fo Dayz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swag Fo Dayz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Swag Fo Dayz!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dayz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dayz feints and then cracks Matice Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Matice Jr down.
Matice Jr gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dayz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Matice Jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dayz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matice Jr under the eye.
Dayz thuds a left hand into Matice Jr's body.
Matice Jr shoots and misses
and Dayz counters with a nice leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregory Matice Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dayz lands a nice hook to Matice Jr's body. Matice Jr takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Gregory Matice Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matice Jr misses with a takedown
and Dayz counters with a nice uppercut.
Matice Jr moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dayz avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dayz connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dayz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Matice Jr. That did some damage!
Matice Jr throws a solid leg kick but Dayz takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Matice Jr.

Matice Jr gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Dayz.

enabling Dayz to counter with a crisp jab.
Dayz scores with a hook.
Dayz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Matice Jr has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dayz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Matice Jr had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Matice Jr on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Matice Jr just misses with a punch to the body.
Matice Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dayz counters with a left to the body.
Matice Jr is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dayz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Matice Jr's hands.
Dayz lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Dayz.
Dayz fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dayz moves into range and connects with a jab.
Matice Jr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dayz counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Matice Jr. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Matice Jr has his takedown stuffed
letting Dayz counter with a right hand.
Dayz connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dayz moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dayz cracks Matice Jr with a right hand to the side of the head.
Matice Jr has his takedown stuffed
and Dayz counters with a low kick, right behind Matice Jr 's knee.
Dayz jabs Matice Jr right on the nose. Matice Jr blinks but takes it well.
Matice Jr doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Dayz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Matice Jr thinking.
Dayz lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Matice Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dayz can pounce on him.
A shot to the liver by Dayz. Beautiful body shot.
Swag Fo Dayz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Dayz scores with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A left and a right from Dayz both land. Nice combination.
Dayz cracks Matice Jr with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Matice Jr is rocked!
Matice Jr tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Matice Jr rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dayz moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dayz's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matice Jr under the eye.
Oh Matice Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dayz drops Matice Jr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Matice Jr! Dayz dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Swag Fo Dayz!
In his post fight interview, Swag Fo Dayz gave a big smile as he said 'TIMES UP MOTHERFUCKER, FEED ME PINTOR'.
