Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Mott!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mott thows a leg kick but Sanchez checks it
and Sanchez counters with a head kick.
Nice jab there from Mott.
Sanchez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mott.
Sanchez throws a leg kick which misses Mott's front leg but catches the back leg as Mott tries to avoid it.
Mott takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Mott takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mott throws a series of punches but Sanchez moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Sanchez counters with a thumping low kick.
Sanchez lands a nice looking body kick.
Mott shoots in but Sanchez avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sanchez looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanchez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sanchez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mott on the side of the head.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Sanchez.
Sanchez scores with a push kick.
Mott looks winded!
A nice inside leg kick there by Sanchez. That's going to slow Mott down.
Mott takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sanchez fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sanchez lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Mott takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Mott looks to land a left hand but Sanchez moved out of range nicely.
Mott misses with a body punch
and Sanchez counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Mott! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Diego Sanchez!
After winning the bout, Diego Sanchez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
