Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerold Hightower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kriztov The Yeti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Yeti has chosen Duran Duran- Eye of the tiger as his entrance music. Kriztov The Yeti is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hightower darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hightower looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The Yeti tries to get to full guard but Hightower has control of the leg.
Hightower lands with a punch from half guard.

It looks like Kriztov The Yeti has been cut.
Hightower content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The Yeti keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hightower seems to be looking for submissions.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Hightower wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Yeti keeps working.

Hightower is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hightower is keen to just control but The Yeti is a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The Yeti is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hightower's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hightower's back!

The Yeti is working for a rear naked choke. Hightower is not defending it well and The Yeti has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hightower refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hightower's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
