Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Iverson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iverson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Champ-nelly. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Allen Iverson!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iverson closes the distance and clinches.
Bills misses with a short punch on the inside.
Iverson pulls guard effortlessly.
Bills has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Bills looking to sit in guard and control but Iverson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Iverson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Let's hope that Iverson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Iverson stands and steps away. Bills gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Iverson throws a series of punches but Bills avoids them all with ease.

Iverson wants to clinch up but Bills keeps it at a distance.

Bills throws a quick inside leg kick.
Bills lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Iverson shoots in and drives through. Bills sprawls well.
Bob Bills is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Iverson tries to clinch but Bills moves out of range.
Bills bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Iverson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bills slaps away a takedown attempt from Iverson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Iverson gets a clinch.
Nice body punch from Bills.
Iverson looks winded!
Bills pushes Iverson back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

A nice left hand lands by Bills.
Bills scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Bills trying to stall but Iverson improves his position.
Bills tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Bills.
Bills swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Iverson jumps guard but Bills turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bob Bills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Allen Iverson.
Bills lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Bills is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Bills working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Iverson is rocked!

Iverson is still on wobbly legs! Can Bills finish him?
Bills lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Iverson to his knees! Bills keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

A relieved looking Bob Bills thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
